Live Chat Software Features - Prechat Information


This feature enables the mioot live chat software users to create and use a simple form before a chat session when a website visitor is requesting a chat session, the visitor will be asked to fill-in certain details before the start of the read chat session. This will be useful in obtaining some basic information from the visitors before the chat.


This form is highly versatile. A template is provided with the field name and option to make any field mandatory. The field names can be “first name” field is mandatory by default.


It will also be possible to switch off this feature. This can be achieved just by unchecking “enable pre chat” check box. Once this is alone, the visitors will directly be taken into chat without any hurdles in between.
