Manage Department
 

Department is the great feature , it will help the customer to split the entire sites in diffrent department and then assign the operator on the basics of skill . This will help the Department operator to track the visitor based on the pages they visit and if need they can Invite chat .

Customer can create and edit as many as Department they want and allowed to delete any Department if none of the operator are assigned as primary or secondary.

Customer can add one or more emails with the Department if they want to receive email on each offline messages to that particular department.

This feature enables you to create and maintain the department set needed to do the marketing and research activities using miOOt. After identified and created the skills it will be easy for you to categorize the available customer service executives.

To Add a new department,

Step1: Go to “Administrator" then select "Skill department >> Add department” from menu.

Step 2:Enter the department name and other fields

# If you want to send the email when the operator is offline then must be checked.

Step 3: Press to save.

To Edit/Delete an existing department,

Step 1: Go to department management >> List departmentfrom the menu.

Step 2: Select [ E ] to edit a skill and [ D ] to delet a skill "if it is no assigned to any operator".

# The Operators column will show you the number of operators for the corresponding skill group. (Detailed discussion in the next section)
